... a simply spiffing ettiquette quiz. How posh are you?

Well I did better than I thought. I was at least above finger food.

But the ettiquette about the dog did remind me of a traumatic experience when I was young and waiting for my date at her father's. I was very nervous and had to pass gas, but was afraid of embarassing myself. Anyway the father's old dog was laying under the rocking chair I was sitting on, and when I couldn't stand it anymore I tried to just let a little bit of the gas out.

The father apparently sniffed the air and said Rover, at the dog. I thought that was pretty cool that he was blaming the dog so I let a little more escape. The old man looked in the direction of the dog again and just said Rover!

Well since everything seemed to be going my way I just let the rest of it out, but that time the father hollered Rover will you get the hell out from under that chair before he shits on you.

 

8/10 Silver Service...I never get those damn forks right.

 

Any American seen in a restaurant using a fork in their left hand and a knife in their right is thought to have etiquette.... until you realise it must be a Brit....... over on holiday.

 

I got 6/10, not too bad I guess.
